Ingredients
🛒 Ingredients:
For the Dough (if making from scratch):
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp instant yeast
¾ tsp salt
¾ cup warm water
1 tbsp olive oil
OR Use:
1 pre-made pizza dough ball (store-bought or homemade)
For the Topping:
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (or cheese blend)
2 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
1 clove garlic (minced)
½ tsp Italian seasoning
¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp grated parmesan (optional)
For Dipping (optional):
Warm marinara or ranch sauce
Instructions
👩🍳 Instructions:
Preheat Oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
Roll Out Dough into a 9×13″ rectangle about ¼” thick on a floured surface.
Prepare Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic and Italian seasoning. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the dough.
Top with Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella (and parmesan if using) evenly over the surface. Add red pepper flakes for a spicy touch.
Slice Before Baking: Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to pre-slice dough into strips — this makes them easier to pull apart later.
Bake for 10–12 Minutes or until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Cool Slightly before slicing through completely. Serve with dipping sauce of choice!
Notes
📝 Notes:
You can use cheese blends like mozzarella + cheddar for extra flavor.
For extra crispy edges, bake directly on a preheated pizza stone.
Add toppings like pepperoni, jalapeños, or pesto drizzle for a creative twist.
These breadsticks reheat best in an air fryer or oven — avoid the microwave if you want to preserve the crust.
For gluten-free, use your favorite gluten-free pizza dough or cauliflower crust.
